A Simplified Understanding of the Olivet Discourse of Jesus 

FOJ: Perhaps the most well known prophecy in the whole Bible is Jesus famous exchange with his Disciples in the Olivet Discourse, which highlights his responses to three of their very distinct; but are, by their structuring, actually “time / age separated” topics: 

(Matthew 24:3 As he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, asking:

(1) Tell us, when shall all these things be? 

(2) And what shall be the sign of thy coming? (3) And of the end of the world?

Jesus broad sweeping response details signs and events that pertain to three different eras of world history!

(1) Some of his answers point to the first century demise of Israel and the Roman destruction of Jerusalem. 

(2) Still many more of the signs in his response point to the “Last Days,” after Israel has been  regathered back into its own land; & Jerusalem becomes a burdensome stone for all the nations leading to the ultimate crisis involving the Antichrist!

(3) Finally, the response of Jesus to the Disciples third question has to do with the actual End of the World; which of course alludes to the post 1000 year Kingdom Age for Israel; when God ushers in a New Heaven and a New Earth. (Rev 21:1-3)

As You See the Day Approaching

FOJ: In Hebrews chapter ten; we are informed that we can be assured that there is a glorious day on the horizon and that we can observe the forecast of it, even as it Approaches! 

(Hebrews 10: 24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:

25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, “AS YE SEE THE DAY APPROACHING.”) 

You May ask, “What Day is being referred to in this chapter?” The answer is provided within the chapter itself: 

(1) Verse 1-12 That the law was merely a shadow of good things to come. 

(2) Verse 13: The Day that is approaching is a day when the Lord shall make his enemies his footstool. 

(3) Verse 16 The Lord will forge a New Covenant with his people, when he returns. 

(4) Verses 24-37 “The Day” referred to is a day that the Lord will literally return to this world to execute vengeance on a Christ rejecting world and thereafter to establish his righteous kingdom!

The wonderful blessing of being able; by Revelation from Almighty God; to avail the capacity for us to observe the Approaching Day of the Lords Return, offers us a special Hope to endure in a perilous world until That Day!

If The Rapture Should Happen

FOJ: In the event that the long anticipated Rapture should happen sometime soon; what should a person that is left behind do?

1) Find yourself a Bible! Guard it with your life.

2) Read John 3:16-18; very carefully. (Romans 10:13)

3) Do not accept the Lies being promoted by the world. (II Thess 2:9-11)

4) Search for the Truth in the Bible. (John 14:6; 17:7)

5) Do not take the number, the mark or the image of the Antichrist; that will be forcefully propagated and demanded of you by the world. (Rev 14:9)

6) Simply Pray and ask Jesus to Save You! And He will! (Romans 10:13)

Pass this timely message on to everyone you know and care about!

The Gaza End of War Deal

The Gaza “End of War” Peace Deal

Lately, I have received a number of messages requesting my take on the current Israel / Gaza Hamas “end of war” situation and how it may fit into end times Bible prophecy.

FOJ Analysis: Will the pending end of the war deal in Gaza actually produce a viable peace? NO! Absolutely not!

The Gazan Hamas terrorist organization is just taking an exit ramp out of the war, simply because it is the only way that they can survive the present situation!

Their long stated goal of destroying Israel has not changed; and it never will change. They will never change because their god will never stop inflaming the perpetual hatred of Israel that he preaches!

The Perpetual Hatred of Israel (Ezek 35:5) is deeply ingrained into all the peoples that make up the “Residue” of the Heathen nations (Ezek 36) that retain their ancient enmity against the God of Israel.

As the Gaza war fades; the nations of the world will simply push harder than ever before to enforce a brand new Palestinian state into the region of Judea and Samaria (the two state solution) which will in effect be a reward to Hamas; and provide yet another enclave within the territory of Israel for her enemies to launch a much more effective war against them! 

It think it should be noted that the eventual implementation of the “Two State Solution”; (Joel 3:1-2) “that the world regards as the Only pathway to a lasting regional peace”, will eventually be made a viable on-the-ground reality by the Antichrist himself! (Daniel 11:39)

The highly anticipated Abrahamic Accords would seemingly offer a unique geopolitical scenario for the Antichrist to begin his rise to prominence! (Daniel 8:25)

The nations may enjoy parroting the mantra of Peace, Peace, Peace in the Middle East, (Jer 6:14) but there will be no real peace for Israel until the “Prince of Peace”, Jesus Christ returns!

In the meantime: “Be Ye Ready”
