The Foolishness of Atheism

Psalms 14:1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.
Psalms 53:1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good.
The Bible indicates that only a fool would believe that there is no God. In fact the Bible is so emphatic about this affirmation that it is even recorded twice. Thus, the Lord seems to be doubly intent about warning people of the dangers of atheism.
Scientist and children’s television personality Bill Nye, in a recently released online video, panned biblical creationism and implored American parents who reject the scientific theory of evolution not to teach their beliefs to their youngsters. If you want to deny evolution and live in your world that’s completely inconsistent with everything we’ve observed in the universe that’s fine. But don’t make your kids do it,’” said Nye, best known as host of the educational TV series “Bill Nye the Science Guy.”
In his posting, Nye said widespread public doubt in the scientific concept of evolution, which holds that human beings and all other forms of life developed from a process of random genetic mutation and natural selection, would hinder a country long renowned for its innovation, intellectual capital and a general grasp of science. “When you have a portion of the population that doesn’t believe in (evolution) it holds everybody back, really,” he said.
According to a Gallup poll that surveyed 1,012 adults last May, 46 percent of Americans can be described as creationists for believing that God created humans in their present form at some point within the last 10,000 years. Education advocates have argued for decades over what children should be taught in public schools in regard to the formation of the universe, life and humans.
The US Supreme Court ruled in 1987 that requiring biblical creation to be taught in public schools alongside evolution was unconstitutional as a violation of the First Amendment separation between church and state. In April 2014, a law was passed that protects teachers in Tennessee who wish to critique or analyze what they view as the scientific weaknesses of evolution, making it the second state, after Louisiana, to enable teachers to more easily espouse alternatives to evolution in the classroom.
Meanwhile, Nye says that while many adults may believe in creationism, children should be taught evolution in order to understand science. Absent a grasp of evolution, he said, “You’re just not going to get the right answers.” And he called evolution the “fundamental idea in all of life science, in all of biology.” Teaching children the building blocks of science is essential for the country’s future, he added, saying, “We need them. We need scientifically literate voters and taxpayers for the future.”
Well, I would beg to differ with Mr. Nye. I think that it is paramount to the young generations of every age to be endowed with an acute knowledge of the Creator. Wise men of every age have already concluded that there really is a God who rules in the affairs of the nations. Benjamin Franklin, among others asserted this common viewpoint at our own American Constitutional Convention way back in 1777. The theories of Evolution were not a prevailing thesis among the enlightened framers of our government in the 18th century.
Ah, but alas, we have come a long ways baby! We have replaced the sacred scriptures of the "god we knew" with the "gods of laboratory analysis of humanism and rationalism." Thus, just like Adam and Eve, we have elevated ourselves to the place where any real god cannot be mentally discerned.

But, there are so many examples of history that verify the infusion of Almighty God into the affairs of mankind and nations. One shining example can be observed through the confession of Babylon's great King, Nebuchadnezzar. King Nebuchadnezzar, of whom we read so much in the
sacred writings, was the first founder of the rich and powerful
Babylonian empire, which was built upon the ruins of that of the
Assyrians, the metropolis of which was Nineveh, and sundry other mighty
kingdoms. He assumed that great Babylon was the product of his genius and sovereign might, but he soon found himself brought low by the power of God.
Daniel 2:46-47 Then the king Nebuchadnezzar fell upon his face, and
worshiped Daniel, and commanded that they should offer an oblation and
sweet odors unto him. The king answered unto Daniel, and said, Of a
truth it is, that your God is a God of gods, and a Lord of kings, and a
revealer of secrets, seeing thou couldst reveal this secret.
In his striving with God's messenger, Daniel, Nebuchadnezzar soon discovered that there was indeed a God. He finally concluded, "The Most High God is sovereign over the kingdoms of
men, and gives them to anyone he wishes!" Daniel 4:25.
That this world owes its existence to the creating
power of God, and that he alone established its laws, and put its every wheel in
motion, is a truth so evident, that it will extort the consent of all
mankind, sooner or later, even Bill Nye.
But of course, no amount of lengthy and researched debate is ever going to settle the satisfaction of the human mind as to whether there is a god or not. That comes down to a matter of divine revelation and faith! But there is something about this debate that cannot be ignored. It stems from a simple analysis of comparing the two options set before us. Let's examine the credits and debits for buying into each option:
First for the God Believer & his Salvation via Christ"
1. Heaven is a reward to believers
2. Hell is avoided for believers
3. A relationship/fellowship with God is availed to believers
4. Knowledge and spiritual help is availed to believers
5. Eternal life begins
Second for Non-Believers in God/Christ
1. Heaven is lost
2. Hell is their fate
3. No relationship with God
4. Devil becomes master
5. eternal punishment begins
First for the Atheist Believer
1. He has the self satisfaction of simply being right
2. There is no reward for being right
3. Death is the end
Secondly for the Atheist Non-Believer
1. He is simply wrong
2. There is no punishment for being wrong
3. Death is the end
Now, after analyzing the two plans, I would ask you, which plan looks more pleasant, profitable, happy, satisfying, and smarter to you? There is no comparison, is there! What benefit or reward does an atheist have to look forward to if he is right? Therefore, it is no wonder the Lord has said the "fool has said in his heart, that there is no God." Oh, yeah, many people are vocalizing, and loudly so with their mouths that there is no god, but when a person begins to believe in their heart that there is no god, they are indeed a Fool!
Proverbs 14:16 A wise man feareth, and departeth from evil: but the fool rageth, and is confident.
Psalms 10:4 The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts.
Psalms 92:4-6 For thou, Lord, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands. O Lord, how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep. A brutish man knoweth not; neither doth a fool understand this.
Proverbs 1:7 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
