Justice is in God's Hands

It seems that everyone in America is talking about the recent Casey Anthony murder trial. Miss Anthony, of course was charged by the state of Florida for the murder of her small daughter Caylee Anthony. I am sure there is no need to repeat all the details of that horrific story on this posting, as it is well known. But the purpose of this writing is to discuss the idea that is currently infuriating many people in the aftermath of Miss Anthony's surprising acquittal. "Where is the justice for Caylee?"

In the final analysis, Caylee, obviously being under the Biblical "age of accountability" is now in Heaven. That is no small matter! She has been found "just" in the eyes of God, and therefore has been received into paradise. Heaven has no doubt received many babies (born and unborn) and small children over the centuries.

On the other hand, Cayley's murderer, whomever that truly is, will be judged by the Almighty. It is just a matter of time. If Casey is in fact the murderer of her small child, then someday she will have to stand before an all-knowing God and give an account for her actions, as will everyone else.

(Revelation 20:11-12  And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.)

In this scene from The Revelation, God himself will be the righteous judge, and will tolerate no lies, no tricks, and no excuses. In fact, it is not so far-fetched an idea, that God could utilize the most credible testimony of the most reliable witnesses to Caylee's murder, witnesses unavailable to the Florida prosecutors. God can use Cayllee herself as a witness against her own Mother. But further, since God sees all, and knows all, He could call himself to testify against the guilty.

So, you see, true justice, a justice that is morally right as well as legally correct is imminent for every deed. In the Day of Judgment, justice is in God's hands.
