Election Day 2020: I’m Not Leaving"

I’m Not Leaving My Country

It has become something of a trend for liberal celebrities to announce that they are leaving our country if they don’t get their way in the presidential election. It’s happening again this year!

In 2016, noted celebrities such as Barbara Streisand, Whoopi Goldberg and Cher claimed they would leave America if Donald Trump became the President of the United States; over their choice of preference, Hillary Clinton.

Again, this year, the claims of noted celebrities promising to leave our country, if President Trump is re-elected is blaring louder than ever.

Bruce Springsteen, Tommy Ice, Miley Cyrus, Al Sharpton, Amy Schumer, and dozens more have publicly pledged that they will depart from America forever, if the hated Donald Trump is re-elected as President.

As I read these comments, I can’t help but think about the thousands of servicemen and women who have fought for our national freedom. That freedom includes the right to dissent, the right to vote, to run for political office, and the right to live in peace in a secured nation.

I also wondered where they’d prefer to live, if they are so oppressed by the results of an American political election. Would they prefer to go to any of the vast number of state Dictatorships, perhaps a nice Communist country, or maybe one of the many growing Socialist states, or perhaps an Islamic theocracy.

Their choices of attractive places to relocate to are not very appealing, at least they aren’t in my way of thinking. I’ve always felt tremendously fortunate and blessed to be born in and live in America!

As a Christian, I have always felt pretty safe and oh so very lucky to live in a Christian based country! But, because of a gradual decaying of our Christian founding; I have for quite sometime now sensed and followed a growing trend of anti-Christian backlash in our culture, our society, our media, our arts, and our government.

Our beloved nation has in effect allowed itself to be enticed away from a Biblical worldview basis towards a more atheistic, liberal, socialist, and ultimately Globalist government.

When I read about these fragile Americans threatening to leave our country; my mind turns to the Thousands of people everyday that are risking life and limb, leaving their countries behind for a chance to get into America. They take this desperate risk because life is unbearable in their native lands.

America has always been a beacon of light and hope in the world. It has been the rare exception of history’s roll call of nations to ever offer its people freedom, economic optimism, civil rights, religious liberty, and the pursuit of individual happiness. You don’t find those intangibles in the rest of the world!

And you don’t find these precious gifts around the world because America is the lone member of the community of modern nation states to be built upon the principles of the Bible and the teachings of Jesus Christ!

Back in 1964, future President Ronald Reagan stated the following in a political speech about freedoms last stand. It’s subject matter is more serious today than it has ever been!

“Not too long ago, two friends of mine were talking to a Cuban refugee, a businessman who had escaped from Castro, and in the midst of his story one of my friends turned to the other and said, “We don’t know how lucky we are.”

And the Cuban stopped and said, “How lucky you are? I had someplace to escape to. And in that sentence, he told us the entire story. If we lose freedom here, there’s no place to escape to. This is the last stand on earth.”

So while this years presidential election is extremely important for our future, like many of you, I can’t help but wonder aloud about the consequences of its results.

I am hoping and praying for a big victory for the presidential candidate and other candidates that best represent my understanding of a Biblical Worldview.

As I pray about this particular election, our country, and its future; I am also pondering how it will affect Christians and the Church in these Last Days! The point should be emphasized that this election could very well affect the welfare of Christians in our country! And Heaven knows, the welcome mat is not out for Christians anywhere else in the world.

But I know one thing for sure: no matter who wins the presidential election this year, the fact is, if I don’t like the results, there is no place for me to run to for any refuge! I will live, fight and die, right here in America!

America, unfortunately, is the lone fortress of Christianity’s last stand in a world that is headed into Tribulation. I firmly believe that we may well be engaged, in many ways in a fight for the survival of Christian civilization.

So, on November 3rd; even if my preferred choice for President of the United States loses; I’M NOT LEAVING!

Fake News is a Weapon of War!

Fake News is A Weapon of War

We hear a lot about Fake News today! Of course, Anything that is fake, is nothing short of a lie! And when anyone resorts to a systemic program of lying, you can bet that the Truth truly hurts!

When dispensers (journalists, news broadcasters, writers) of the news continually lie to the public consumers of news; about the details of the news, it must be realized that their primary intent is outright deception!

When the intent of disseminating Fake News is practiced by news organizations, they are actually involved in the industry of Propaganda! Propagandists are never concerned about the Truth; but are entirely invested in a programmed agenda.

The deception of a society, regarding the Truth of news events, (especially political news) ultimately leads to the loss of freedom in a society!

It is often said that “the first casualty in any war is the Truth!”

Let me repeat that line again, so that you don’t miss out on it’s impact. “The first casualty in any war, whether it be a militaristic, political or cultural war is the Truth!”

So, if we can assume that analogy is factual, and history shows absolutely that it is, then we as Americans need to wake up and realize that the reason for “Fake News” today, is simply to wage war on the traditional values of our Judea-Christian American Republic!

If we allow ourselves to be constantly lied to, and entrust power to the distributors of Fake News, then we will become the blind followers of the Blind.

So then, as the Bible so richly instructs, wise men always diligently seek and search to know the Truth!

Remember this: “A society that condones the lying of persistent self promoting liars within its society and culture, without retribution, will eventually become an all out enemy of the Truth themselves.

Psalms 52:3 Thou lovest evil more than good and lying more than righteousness!

It is Only the Truth that can deliver any society from the Masters of Deception! (And I note from II Thessalonians chapter 2:9-10; a principle Master of Deception is seeking in these Last Days to deceive many!) (And the spirit of the Antichrist is already at work)

So beware of the Fake News. Also Beware of Liars and the purveyors of lies! They are corrupt and only seek to ensnare us and our nation in their web of deceit!

The Truth is a mightier weapon than a lie! And the Truth in News is mightier than Fake News! Seek ye the Truth and be Free!

The Bondage of Lying

The Bondage of Lying

The Bible is clear that lying is a sin and is particularly a sin that is sorely displeasing to God; as he is the author of Truth, and cannot lie.

Of course, the first sin in this world involved a big lie told to Eve, by the Biggest Liar of all time. Satan is cast in the Bible as the “father of lies” in that he is the original liar. Koi

John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

As the “father of lies,” Lying is Satan’s primary weapon against God and against his children. He uses the tactic of deceit to separate people from their heavenly Father.

Some of his more common lies are “there is no God,” “God doesn’t care about you,” “the Bible cannot be trusted,” and “your good works alone will get you into heaven.”

Satan has told more lies to more people than any other being ever created. His ultimate success of deception depends on people believing his lies. He has used everything from “little white lies” to huge, pants-on-fire whoppers to deceive folks.

Adolph Hitler, a man who practiced the art of how to lie effectively, once said, “If you tell a big enough lie and tell it frequently enough, it will be believed.”

Unfortunately, this axiom has proven to be factual  because we all live in a world where lying comes second nature to us. And the more a society condones lying, the more the Truth is perceived as an enemy! And the more a liar, lies, the more he becomes indifferent to the truth, and bound up in Lying.

On the other hand, Jesus called Himself the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and He expects those who follow Him to be people of truth.

The Truth always brings light to everything, whereas lying always creates an environment of Bondage!

The Bible nowhere presents an instance where lying is considered to be the right thing to do. The ninth commandment prohibits bearing false witness. In fact  “A lying tongue” and “a false witness” are two of the seven abominations to the Lord.

Proverbs 6:16-19 These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: 17. A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, 18. An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, 19. A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

Lying is the worst thing a person can engage in. It leads to self delusion. A lie is in effect, a discontinuity in reality, a fabrication isolated from real-world causes and effects.

Even the simplest, most innocent lie can lead to the creation of a supporting web of lies, which then necessitate their own supporting lies. And soon enough we've spun an actual web of endless fictions.

Lying “is in reality both a failure of understanding and an unwillingness to be held accountable. The first principle of lying is that you must not fool yourself , and yet you are the easiest person to fool.

Thus, all liars end up lying to themselves, and as such, become too prideful to ever acknowledge that fact, thereby ensnaring their very life and soul in their own self delusion.

Once a liar, always a liar, we’ve all heard that old saying. It turns out that there’s actually some scientific truth to that saying. Researchers have tracked down how the brain makes lying easier as our untruths build up, providing some biological evidence for why small lies often balloon into ever larger ones.

Lies beget more lies; and once you start lying you have to keep lying more and more to hide the lies that you have already told. The practice of perpetual lying ultimately leads to the searing of the conscience!

(this is the reason that people of self importance; such as politicians resort to lying, as their pride before men is all important to them) (And the more a society condones lying leaders, the less lying is viewed as a vice, but is viewed as being progressive)

Mankind is not naturally honest. Since we all live in a world of Dishonesty, we all too often get absorbed by the way the world rewards deception. Lying can often bring financial gain, power, or temporary satisfaction. But the rewards come at a price.

Psalms 52:3 Thou lovest evil more than good; and lying rather than to speak righteousness.

Dishonesty leads to more and more wickedness. Lying to fulfill worldly desires ultimately results in the loss of everything a person truly needs, integrity, hope, honor,  respect, morals, grace, and ultimately can include the loss of his very soul.

In the end analysis, Hell’s inhabitants will include “all liars” (Revelation 21:8). So the nature of lying leads to Bondage! And the Bondage of Lying leads to Judgement and Hell, and being incarcerated with the Father of Lies!

But there is a better way! There is the “Way of Truth.” Jesus Christ is that Way! Knowing the Truth can truly set one free from Lying, and from the bondage of the Father of Lies.

John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

Oh how great it feels to be free of the bondage of lies! The truth not only sets one free, it is eternal, unchanging, and separates us from the nature of arrogance and pride.

A parallel virtue of all truth tellers is personal humility. People of truth don’t need to exalt themselves in the eyes of fickle men.

Proverbs 12:19-22  The lip of truth shall be established for ever: but a lying tongue is but for a moment. Deceit is in the heart of them that imagine evil: but to the counselors of peace is joy. 21. There shall no evil happen to the just: but the wicked shall be filled with mischief. 22. Lying lips are abomination to the Lord: but they that deal truly are his delight.

People of Truth are much more concerned about their accountability before God, than their standing before men, or what the powers of this world can offer them by exchanging the Truth for the lies of this world.

Ephesians 4:23-25 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; 24. And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. 25. Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbor: for we are members one of another.

In accepting the Way (Jesus) and the Truth of God, we cast aside the bondage of sinful nature! We become new creatures in Christ, with a renewed mind for the Freedom that comes from the truth!

Colossians 3:9  Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;

Honesty as a character quality is a sign of the Spirit’s work in a person’s soul. God cannot lie; therefore, His presence within a person gives rise to personal humility and truthfulness.

Whereas the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil in the ancient Garden of Eden; offered mankind the Freewill to choose to believe the Truths of God as opposed to the Lies of Satan; we are all still yet availed the knowledge of the Truth, and the freedom that comes from the Bondage of Lying!

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Why Isn’t the Bible More Time-Date Specific About the Rapture Season?

Why Isn’t the Bible More Time-Date-Specific About the Rapture Season?

God, in his great wisdom, as the Commander in Chief of the armies in Heaven, chose not to reveal a specific date-time for the Rapture of the Church for a variety of reasons!

In his great “mystery plans of the ages,” He intentionally withheld it from being published anywhere in his Divine word. Albeit, Psalms 102:13 does indicate that the time for the Lord to favor Zion is a “Set Time.”

Israel aside though, the specific time for the Rapture of the Church is actually highly classified in Heaven as top secret information for at least two particular reasons.

You may recall from Jesus Olivet Discourse, concerning the Last Days and his imminent return to this world; that Jesus stated to his Disciples the following proclamation:

Matthew 24:36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

This highly classified “Mystery of the Ages” information was even restrained from Jesus earthly knowledge.

It was only after Jesus fulfilled his earthly mission, was resurrected and returned to Heaven, that Jesus was proclaimed worthy by the Father to unseal further classified information relating to the future.

And yet, the time-date for the Rapture was still kept sealed up as top secret information! Why?

# 1. God has intentionally kept this valuable and time sensitive piece of information from the spying eyes of Satan. It prevents Satan from knowing the time, thereby causing him tremendous strategic and logistical problems, all throughout Church age history; as to how and when to plot his strategy to present his Antichrist for universal exaltation.

# 2. God also well knew the natural tendency of mankind to procrastinate. If the Church had foreknew the date of the rapture, it would likely not have spread the Gospel throughout the world with the greatest sense of urgency. And make no mistake about it; God wants his servants busy seeking the Lost!

So, as Christians, we need to rest in the certainty of the Lords salvation; and be ever diligent in being busy about sharing the Good News of the Gospel.

And even as we labor together in building up the kingdom of Christ; and utilizing the patience of Christ for the Lost; we need never be ignorant of the signs pertaining to the Lords imminent return, for the season of his return is at hand!

In the meantime, even in this dark and evil world, wherein Satan is ever attacking and plotting his ascendancy, we have a “Blessed Hope.”

For us as Christians and for the Church in general, that Hope is the “Appearing of Jesus” to catch us all away to be with him forever!

The Eyes of the Lord

The Eyes of the Lord

It is often said that since God is holy & perfect that he cannot look upon evil. But in truth, Such a view gives sin way too much power and assumes God cannot overcome it

Many theologians suggest that God even had to turn his Eyes away from Jesus, as he died on the Cross while bearing the sins of the world.

Yet, Proverbs 15:3 would seem to dispel that notion. “The eyes of the Lord are in every place, beholding the evil and the good!

In the first chapter of the book of Habbakuk, the prophet says to God, “Your eyes are too pure to look on evil.” This does not mean that God must close His eyes or turn His back when people start to sin. It is, rather, a recognition of God’s righteous character and, in context, part of a larger discussion of God’s methods in dealing with sin.

It’s in this context that the perplexed prophet says, “Your eyes are too pure to look on evil; you cannot tolerate wrongdoing”

The key to understanding this statement is found in the parallelism of the poetry. “To look on” is parallel with “tolerate.” Habakkuk is pointing to God’s holiness and saying, “You are too holy to look favorably on evil, forever.”

Thus, “God is indeed observing all that we do,” whether it be good or evil! Yes; God is literally watching you!

For a fact it is that God is omnipresent, and thereby all knowing, and all seeing.

Absolutely Nothing escapes the Eyes of the Lord! In fact the Lord has Seven Eyes; that continually span the whole of creation!

Zechariah 4:10 For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the “eyes of the LORD,” which run to and fro through the whole earth.

As a matter of fact; it is essential that the Lord witnesses every evil; for someday he will judge every evil deed! To that end, He is even documenting all the evil deeds of mankind.

Revelation 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

Fortunately, there is a way that has been provided by which mans evil nature and deeds can be pardoned in the “Eyes of the Lord!”

It is by Turning your Eyes to the Cross and accepting Jesus as the justifiable payment for your sinful and evil nature.

If you can Turn your Eyes upon Jesus, and see him for who really he is, then when the Lord turns his Eyes upon you, he won’t see you for who you really are.

If you will accept Christ ransom payment for evil and sin; then the the “Eyes of the Lords” will see Jesus sinless life, and pass over (not see) your guilty stains.

Psalms 34:15 The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.
