National Hell

Do you ever get the feeling that our once god-fearing country has developed an outright hatred for God? I sure do! Surely I am not the only one sensing this prevailing national evil.

I sense it everywhere I look in our nation anymore! In every public venue, whether it be in politics, in movies, in music, the media, our courts, television & our government; I see a benign mysterious dark super-force at work against God, his church and true Christianity! 

Jesus forewarned us of such times as these! He said the world hated him! That hatred is real in our country today! 

(John 15:18 If the world hate you, ye know that “it hated me before it hated you.”

19. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, “thus the world hates you”)

There is an obvious war being waged on Christianity in our nation! It causes me to reflect upon the fact that any nation that abandons God, after having had a previous relationship with him, shall be turned into Hell. 

(Psalms 9:17 The wicked shall be turned into hell & all the nations that forget God) 

Obviously, only unsaved people can ever go to Hell. Nations can’t go to Hell. Nations must be judged during the course of the process of time. The Hell that comes to nations often comes in the following forms! 

For nations that forget God, they will find social chaos, violence, crime, lawlessness, poverty, drugs, sexual perversion and diseases, pestilences, ignorance, border invasions, corruption, inflation, decline & moral decay in their land!

I think all the symptoms in our nation points out the fact that our precious homeland is in big trouble; with God!

Praying With Power

Praying With Power

To have the most profound blessings and responses to our prayers; we need to pray with the following 3 things fully practiced!

(James 5:16 The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.) 

Note:

Effectual-Start by honoring God in your approach to him. Confess your failures. Beg his forgiveness. Then cite scriptures detailing his love and promises to be with you and help you!

Fervent-Be passionate, constant, talk to him plainly, state the matter of your heart. 

Righteous-Clean up your life, fear God, practice what he teaches in your life! 

Praying with these 3 things taken care of equals the reality that YOUR prayers will not only be heard, but will AVAIL all the agency of God to work toward the success of your prayers; dependent always upon if they match his Will! 

(Point A) God’s will of course is for all to be saved & to remain in steadfast fellowship with him! 

(Point B) God never imposes His Will onto anybody; over their freedom to exercise their own Will! 

(Point C) For any person to ever overcome Satan and his agency, “they” must Submit to Gods Will.

James 4:7 “Submit yourselves therefore to God.” Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

 

(Point D) “No person,” and especially a person struggling with the wiles of the Devil can “Resist” the Devil of their own power and ability! 

(Point E) The Devil will never “FLEE” a person that is not “submitted” totally to God! 

(Point F) The sustenance for submitting to God and resisting the Devil begins by “Abiding” close to God, his word, or His people, or agents of assistance!

James 4:8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you.

John 15:7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall “ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.”

(Point G) In praying for those that you love or are burdened for: remember to first make yourself “free in conscience before God!” This is accomplished by humility and daily rededication! 

(Point H) Secondly, pray to God to maintain the agency of the “convicting & drawing” power of the Holy Spirit around your person of concern!

(Point I) Request that God use the function. Of the Holy Spirit to arrange specially talented and called “ministers, counselors, care-givers, compassionate agents” to be sent into the circle of your special person you are praying for! 

(Point J) Continue to Thank God for his patience, for his ear, and all of his blessings! Be ever Thankful to God! This attitude pleases Him & it will “sustain” your favor with Gods listening compassion!!

(Point K) All your prayers will be rewarded; somehow, someway; someday! We never know when or how! Our requests may not even become a reality in the persons, that we are burdened for; “but our prayers will Always become a source of contentment” with a clean Conscience in the end!

(Point L) Lastly, “without your effectual, fervent prayers to God”; your person, or problem of concern is on their own, literally defenseless! 

I John 5:14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:

(Point M) Always Remember, God knows the best way to approach your problem and will handle it with the utmost wisdom!

The Waiting Game

The Waiting Game

Waiting is hard. It is never fun to have to wait. Yet the Bible often advises us to Wait upon the Lord. 

So, how am I supposed to WAIT upon the Lord; when I need help? 

(Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; and shall mount up with wings as eagles) 

If you follow the following steps, the Waiting Game will seemingly pass very quickly. Furthermore, these steps will strengthen you mightily while will you wait.

A-Slow your life down; be still; free your mind; 

B-Get yourself alone with quiet space; 

C-Pray to God incessantly; and plainly; 

D-Dig very deeply into His Word! Seek guidance from the Holy Spirit;

Place your expectations in him, and, The Waiting will be Worth it!

Psalms 62:5 My soul, wait thou only upon God; for “my expectation is from him.”

Religion

Religion

There are over 4,000 religions in the world. Every one of those religions makes various claims about human spirituality. 

But there is only one religion in the whole world that identifies sin as a problem, and only one religion in the world that has a remedy for human sin, and only one religion that is based upon the life of a Sinless Savior, and only one religion that claims that there is only “one truth,” and only one religion that specifically claims to be the “only way” to Heaven! 

Furthermore, there is only one religion that can back up all of its claims of exclusivity! That religion is the religion presented in the Holy Bible and the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ! 

If the Bible is factual in its exclusive claims about Christianity, then all 4,000 religions of the world are truly, False Religions!

(John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.)

Americans: It’s as Simple as This

America: It’s As Simple as This:

Why do you suppose it is that Communist nations like China & North Korea fear the Bible; outlaw it and persecute anyone that even possesses one? 

Perhaps it is because those dictatorial powers I. Those nations fear that their people will become enlightened to the truth & develop a stronger desire for their liberty! 

II Cor. 3:17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

Perhaps this is why America is losing its sense of the value of the truth of God & therefore as a consequence, we find ourselves also losing our precious  liberty. 

Perhaps, we have turmoil and chaos in every aspect of our society because we have abandoned God and his Holy Word! 

In America, we no longer read or even honor the Holy Bible! As a nation we have abandoned God. America today is a uniquely divided nation, and that division has come about because of our  secular humanistic aversion to the Bible and Christianity!

America became the most Divinely blessed nation among the nations of the world because of its fundamental reverence for God and the Bible. 

Unless we as Americans, and as a nation return to the Bible, our secular socialistic leaders will soon dictate to us, like their atheistic counterparts do in other nations, that the Bible should be forbidden reading and also begin to persecute us for possessing one!

We must earnestly beseech God for help! We must pray  incessantly for Divine intervening. We must stand up and defend the faith! 

The now decades long Culture War that has engulfed America is very simply a War on Christianity!

Nice Guys Don’t Finish Last

In our modern society nothing is worse than being last. 

Last place is reserved for losers! 

In our modern society; we have all been conditioned to think that we must win, no matter how we win and no matter what the consequences might be!

Therefore, we have lost the trait of humility, courtesy and fairness. We are no longer conditioned to be good sports and to behave like true Gentlemen!  

Thus, as a culture, we have succumbed to the idea that only Bad Guys can win!

There is an old time worn adage that says, “Nice guys finish Last.” All too often anymore that adage seems to be the reality. 

Well, count me among those who see no great traits of character or reward for finishing First; if to be First, you have to be Mean, rude, brutish or behave Badly to attain it. 

Those who would be Last (while being honest) shall be First, and those who would be First (dishonest) shall be Last, in my book!

Jesus alluded to self pride and the pursuit to always be first, no matter what you had to do to exalt yourself!

Luke 13:30 And, behold, there are last which shall be first, and there are first which shall be last.

There is a big difference in being First and being the Best.

In truth; Nice guys always finish Best!

I have learned in striving to be First, that often times finishing last teaches me humility! Humility, not pride is a precious virtue! 

If finishing last begats humility; and finishing first tends to begat Pride, then count me ”Proud to be Last.”

Therefore; in the final analysis of the human race; Nice guys always finish Best! 

Proverbs 16:19 Better it is to be of an humble spirit with the lowly, than to divide the spoil with the proud.

The Last Days vs Latter Days

The Last Days vs The Latter Days

There is a lot of speculation today about the Last Days; particularly now since we are hearing a lot from Russia and nuclear weapons. 

But technically speaking; and according to scripture, we have been within the era of the Last Days since (Rev 1:3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: “for the time is at hand”) Jesus ascended back into Heaven. 

  Actually, we are living in the “Latter portion of Days” of the Last Days era! You see,  the way God views time is quite different from our vantage point here on Earth. (II Peter 3:8, Psalms 90:4) The Bible refers to these extreme  “Latter Days” of the Last Days in 11 prophetic scenes. (Deuteronomy, Daniel, Ezekiel, Hosea & Jeremiah) 

 Most people do not realize that 2/3 of the worlds history had elapsed before Jesus ever arrived in our world for his first visitation. That’s nearly 1,500,000 days of earthly time! Then the last 2000 years since Jesus left this world, by comparison is only 750,000 earthly days. But as I alluded to above, God views all 6,000 years of earthly days as just a matter of a few days to him. 

So then, We are not just living in the Last Days; we are literally living in those extreme Latter Days folks; wherein all the things God revealed in his Word concerning the Last Days could quickly, very quickly come to pass!
