Faith in The Last Days

Faith in The Last Days

Concerning faith in the Last Days, the Lord offered the following perspective:

Luke 18:7-8 And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day & night unto him, though he bear long with them?

I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?”

The Lords narrative here forecasts that his Elect, in this case Israel, will be threatened with annihilation, but that the Lord will ultimately exact vengeance on his and Israel’ enemies.

Secondly, there is also included a sad state of the Church of the Last Days, during the time when Israel is being threatened by the world.

“Will the Lord find Faith among believers in the perilous Last Days prior to the Lords return?”

Other Evidences of Lost Faith in the Last Days

1-Departure from true Doctrine

2-Love of many grows cold

3-Preference for vain philosophy

4-Non reliance on the Holy Spirit

5-Abandonment of our first love

6-Replacement theology

7-Seduced by unbiblical spirits

8-Compliance with the world

9-Coldness in purpose of Gospel

10-Materialistic in their nature

11-Doubt or disbelief in the 2nd Coming

This evaluation of the Last Days church fully parallels the condition of the Laodicean Church Age. It is a church that has largely left its First Love and become compromised with the world.

And by becoming compromised with the world; it has also abandoned and betrayed the Lords covenants with Israel. This status is elsewhere described in part as the great Falling Away.

Christians should always remember the counsel of the Lord concerning Israel, Gods Elect, from Genesis 12:3. “And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.”

I Peter 1:7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
