The Sad Death of Rob Reiner
FOJ: There has been a lot of discussion this week about the shocking murder of Rob Reiner. This whole story is terribly sad.
I personally did not know much about Mr Reiner, except for three things. First I knew him from his days on the TV show All in the Family. Secondly I knew that he was a big time liberal politically and really despised President Trump; and that was his privilege. (Unfortunately, President Trump, failed to display any proper sympathy for Mr Reiner at his death)
Thirdly, I knew that Rob Reiner classified himself as an atheist! This is what makes his horrendous death, at the hands of his own Son so sad! By living his entire life as an atheist, Mr Reiner would not have known Jesus Christ as his Savior! (If his atheism was a fact)
That means the moment that his own son murdered him, his Father descended into that horrible place we know as Hell.
That is the real sadness in this sad story. This whole sad occurrence should highlight the fact that Heaven and Hell are real; and our sudden departure from this life holds a destiny for each us for all eternity!
The Bible offers: “the fool has said in his heart, there is no God.” May the sad death of Rob Reiner serve as a lesson to everyone: Do not gamble with your Soul! Seek the Truth! Jesus is the Truth and the Way!
